Face-to-face classes in Modern Standard Arabic, Levantine dialect (Syrian/Palestinian/Lebanese), Moroccan dialect (Darija), and Egyptian dialect, taught by native teachers who specialise in the teaching of Arabic language and culture.
Classes are held at our school at Via Laietana 45, an ideal space to learn Arabic, backed by over 20 years of experience. We use our own practical Arabic method, developed at Cadmus, which enables our students to progress quickly and communicate in Arabic from day one.
Groups range from 4 to 8 students, allowing for individualised attention and effective teaching.
All study materials are included in the price of the MSA courses: a dossier, access to our drive with the audio and video that accompany the dossier, digitised summaries of each session to review at home, and extra material to consolidate what has been studied in class.
If you have studied Arabic outside of Cadmus, contact us to arrange a free level test (online or in person) before choosing a group. Just tick the "level test" option when you book the course.
We open new beginner groups at the beginning of each month. The next ones begin on september 7th.

Registration and fees:
Registration is free — you only pay a monthly fee, which includes all study materials.
Monthly fee (summer courses from july to september)
- 80 euros (one day a week)
- 130 euros (two days a week)
Annual Program (from october to june)
- €240 euros per quarter
Course duration: You can study with us 365 days a year. Each time you complete a level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2…), you automatically progress to the next one, at any point during the year.
Certificates: At the end of each level, our students sit an exam and receive a certificate indicating their level of competence. We also offer the option of taking the CIMA exams at our school — administered by the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris — which are internationally recognised.
How to book a place on one of our courses:
Fill out our registration form, indicating when you would like to start and the days and times that suit you, and we will reply to confirm your place. We recommend reserving your place at least one month in advance.
For the remaining levels (A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2):
If you have studied Arabic outside of Cadmus, fill out the registration form and select the option "I need to take a level test." We will let you know the schedules for the groups that are right for you once we have the test results.
Private lessons at Cadmus:
Private lessons are available all year round. We adapt to each student's schedule and availability.
Rates for private lessons:
- 35 euros per hour
- 12-hour package at Cadmus: 395 euros
- 12-hour online package: 375 euros
Holidays:
The school is closed during the Christmas period (24 December to 6 January) and during Easter.
